eNetworks advocates strong policies of empowerment and promotion from within. In 2006 Dumisa Melane was welcomed as a 15% shareholder of the company. Dumisa has been with the company since 2001 as a receptionist and has since made her way up in the business to her current position as Customer Relationship Manager.
Our policies encompass sponsoring school children, deploying refurbished computers to previously disadvantaged individuals and direct black ownership, eNetworks has attained a level 4 BBBEE status. This means that each Rand spent with eNetworks counts as 1 BBBEE Rand. We constantly strive to improve our status and are always on the look-out for new investments.
eNetworks started in 1999 and is currently in its 10th year of operation. Functioning as a fixed line ISP and networking specialist we have consistently "punched above their weight" maintaining an impressive client base of major local and global players. Growth has been impressive - 50% year on year in a market that is undisputedly one of the most competitive of all. Growth has been organic and by word of mouth - eNetworks only hired its first sales representative in 2007.
